the clearing in the north bay. heavy rain in the south bay, and east bay, roads. moderate rains towards fremont, and also some thunder and lightning just in the last 15-20 minutes. you can see fremont reporting very heavy rainfall. belmont now, starting to see some of the heavy rainfall right here, starting to move towards the wedwood city area, and this is shifting to the south. mortgage gap hill, san martin. seeing moderate rain ease up. we have a flashflood warning until 6:30 for san will you rice river near big tree and that's a big concern. that's up at 60:00 this evening. the russian officer, flood stage 32. expected to get close to 31 feet. they might come down but that would be tomorrow morning. and mine are fluke situations on the nap a river, right now at 15 feet, and the napa river, 19 feet. so minor fluctuations on bay area rivers. how long this will stay with us? we'll take a look at the forecast. >> a wind advisory was in effect for the bay bridge, the carquinez bridge. if you didn't think the storm had a kick, take a look. this is our camera on mt. tamalpais in mill valley, pound

way. the peninsula, fremont, to the south and east of san jose, and right now things are starting to wind down a little bit. morgan hill, picking up some rain. most of the rain in the north bay ended. picking up moderate showers in santa cruz. all of this is sliding to the south. and we'll look for clearing overnight tonight. how much rain? boy, a lot, in such a short amount of time. over four inches in the north coast, half moon bay, close to an inch and a half. almost an inch in san francisco, san rafael, two -- over two inches there. almost two and a half. over an inch at napa, and oakland. and lesser amounts in livermore, andow talk all the rain and couple it with the wind, golden gate bridge reported a wind gust of 57 miles-per-hour. in the valley reporting a rain gust of 48 miles-per-hour. so a lot of visibility concerns and a lot of high winds and a lot of water out there today. good news is that the rain will be ending overnight. get ready for a dry day for christmas eve, and then another weaker storm system will move in for christmas day. here's a three-quarter satellite

. san francisco 48 degrees. fremont 45. antioch 40 degrees. here is the weather pattern we have been tracking. our main concern over the past few days. atmospheric river approaching. this was the source of the rainfall. heading to the south and east. you will notice clouds developing off shore. more development to the south and west. that is a few extra clouds for monday and maybe rain showers in the north bay, tuesday. here is our forecast, tomorrow morning, 10:00 a.m., partly cloudy skies. clouds thicken into the afternoon by 4:00 p.m. tuesday we bring in a chance of rain showers. main chance in the north bay. some of the models bringing it more to the south tuesday afternoon. by tuesday evening we could be attracting more rain chances. to the south wednesday morning and with scattered showers. main activity is in the north bay, especially for the coastal hills. nothing compared to the system that just moved through today. temperatures forecast highs for your monday upper 50s to lower 60s. half moon bay 59. san jose 62. and fremont 62 degrees as well. here is your five-day forecast

. temperatures are generally in the upper 50s to about 60 in fremont. visibility is down just a bit in some locations, down to two miles at livermore, two miles at half moon bay as we are getting fog developing in some spots. these are forecast features, areas of fog developing overnight. mostly sunny days, turning milder and remaining mild for quite a while. here a satellite radar composite high pressure building in behind the frontal system that brought us dreary weather. this high pressure ridge is going to bring us nice sunny days but follow the time line. as some of the clouds move out, fog starts to settle in. areas of fog overnight and by the beginning of rush hour tomorrow morning, there will be reduced visibility in some areas. low temperatures will drop into the upper 40s in much of the north bay. right around or just about 50 in the remainder of the bay area. then tomorrow, sunshine. something we haven't seen for a while in the south bay. high temperatures in the low 60s. 61-62 in most locations up to 63 in los gatos. 62 palo alto and on coast. 59 in pacifica. downtown san franci
